GENERAL INFO

Cambridge Chorus consists of three curricular ensembles:

  • Preludium (Intermediate Treble Chorus)

  • Chanson (Advanced Treble Chorus)

  • Profundo (Intermediate / Advanced Tenor-Bass Chorus)

All prospective members are encouraged to schedule and complete a voice placement with Mr. Van Dyke in order to be placed in the most appropriate choral ensemble.

All prospective and returning students should enroll in "Beginning Chorus I" (54. ). This is a placeholder course which will be adjusted after your voice placement.

EXTRACURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES

There are a variety of additional performance opportunities for Chorus members who wish to embrace the Performing Arts further.

Cambridge Chorus consists of two extra-curricular ensembles:

  • Unaccompanied Minors (Contemporary A Cappella)

  • Vox (Advanced Mixed Chorus)

Auditions for these groups take place in the fall and as needed in the spring. Singers must be enrolled in a curricular ensemble in order to participate in one of the extracurricular opportunities.
